What is third party marine insurance

Third party marine insurance provides liability cover for injuries to other people and damage to other people's property.

What is classified as a small craft

Small crafts are up to 23 foot / 7 metres in length. Please note: this excludes personal watercraft / Jet Bikes or craft of a similar nature.

What is no claims discount / bonus

No claims discounts (sometimes referred to as no claims bonus) are awarded according to the number of years you have held marine insurance in your own name and have not made a claim. Up to 20% discount can be allowed. No claims discount from other marine policies can also be transferred.

Marine legal cover will pay for you to have specialist representation if your vessel is involved in a collision or other marine accident and you suffer financial loss or injury. The cover will also pay your legal costs if you are prosecuted or become involved in a contract dispute.
